Trouble Ahead for Murphy

We flew into Sean's hometown today (Zhengzhou city), with seven other couples, and were greeted by our Chinese guides. The guides came armed with some basic information and updates about each of our children. It seems that Sean enjoys riding in the front seat of vehicles, next to the driver. We're not sure where he goes, but are sure that the carseat at home will not be a welcomed device. They also let us know he isn't afraid of anything, but doesn't like animals (watch out Murphy). He is also walking.

Tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. we meet in the lobby and head to the registration office to meet Sean! We are both overwhelmed emotions and cannot wait to expand our family. This afternoon the hotel staff rolled in a crib. We placed his teddy bear and blanket in the crib and everything became more real.

  1. Murphy is a tough guy - he'll handle it and so will Sean. Before long they will be the best of buds. Seeing the pic of the teddy bear in the crib brought tears to my eyes. Wish I could be a fly on the wall tomorrow morning when you meet him. Blessings to you - exciting times ahead!

  2. Every time we read a new entry on your blog our hearts skip a beat. We can hardly wait for tomorrow' when you get to meet Sean - and I wouldn't worry too much about Murphy - I'm pretty sure one day he will be sleeping right next to, if not in Sean's bed - just a little boy and his new best friend. We think of you constantly and all of you are in our prayers - have a beautiful day tomorrow! Love Dad and Linda

    2. J&J - I don't imagine that you are getting a lot of sleep tonight with the excitement that promises you the pice of your family that you have been waiting so long for. My prayers are with you during this wonderful journey and I can hardly wait until it's my turn to meet my new grandson. Enjoy and seize the moments you have as you will treasure them forever. The crib is darling and yes, I'm sure Murphy will win over Sean's heart with his first "kiss" on arrival. Mom
