Picture Day

The past couple of days were spent touring the city on our own. We have been relaxing and helping Sean to adjust to his crazy parents. He is definitely a child who knows what he wants, but it is often still a mystery to us.

Here are two pictures from picture day. It was during Sean's nap time and we decided not to wake him up for the event.

The group picture is of all of the families who are here in China this week from our agency. The children range in age from 12 months to 12 years old and include both boys and girls. It is amazing to watch all of the kiddos warm up to their new families.

We have 3 more days here in Guangzhou and then will begin our journey home.

  1. Joslyn and Jim, what a joy to read this blog! Sean is adorable! How old is he? Toddlers are so fun (and exhausting!) Best wishes for your journey back to Montana.

  2. Love, love, love the first picture. You both look soooooo happy and Sean has definitely found peace with you two. He is just so sweet. Get used to him having a mind of his own - our two girls definitely do, too. It is a sign of a smart, well-balanced child (oh so I've heard). Nothing it is going to get in their way. We've had a really hard, emotional week this week so we are counting the days until your happy return. Cannot wait to see you both and meet Sean! Until then, hugs and prayers across the miles!
